HOW I CAN HELP
Fix formulas, tidy existing workbooks, or build a clear tracker, report or dashboard.
Formulas · Tables · Reports
Turn repeat Excel tasks into a simpler process, or repair a macro that has stopped working.
Macros · Imports · Repetitive tasks
Help with tables, queries, forms and reports, or a small database to organise your work.
Customer records · Jobs · Reporting
I’ll check your version of Office and what you need before quoting. VBA usually needs desktop Excel; Access needs Windows.

WORKING TOGETHER
I’m Luke. I run Luke’s Data alongside my other commitments, so I take on manageable work and agree realistic delivery dates.
What do you use now, and what would you like to make easier?
I’ll confirm what’s included and when I can fit it in.
You test the result and receive the agreed files and simple instructions.
LET’S START WITH AN EMAIL
Tell me whether it’s Excel, VBA or Access, a little about the task, and any deadline. Please leave out confidential or personal data at this stage.
I reply in evenings and weekends. Timings depend on my current workload; I’ll confirm availability before accepting a job.
Bank transfer preferred. PayPal payments available by arrangement.
Work starts after we agree the written quote, scope and timing. Quotes are valid for 14 days. For jobs up to £150, payment is due within 7 calendar days of the invoice on delivery. Larger jobs normally require a 25% deposit, with the balance due within 7 days of the final invoice. Any change to the scope or price needs your agreement first.
Keep a backup of your originals and test the delivered solution before using it on live data. I’ll correct errors against the agreed brief reported within 30 days of delivery without an extra charge. New requirements are quoted separately. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
If you cancel, charges reflect agreed work already completed and any specifically agreed unavoidable costs, up to the agreed price. Unused deposits are refunded. Consumer cancellation rights take priority. Full terms and any applicable cancellation information are supplied with the quote, before work is agreed.
Project working files are scheduled for deletion six months after completion, or earlier if agreed. Necessary invoice and tax records are retained separately for the required period.
Luke’s Data uses enquiry and contact details to respond, quote, deliver work and keep necessary business records. The legal bases are taking steps towards or performing a contract, legitimate interests in dealing with business contacts, and legal obligations for tax records.
Project working files are deleted six months after completion, or earlier on agreed instructions. Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted six months after the last contact. Invoice and tax records are retained separately for the legally required period. Backup and service recovery copies may remain isolated until their retention period expires.
